Hi!! Not really sure how to start this whole blog thing but let me tell you a little about myself! My name is Avery and I live in a town called Southlake, Texas which is about thirty minutes from Dallas. My family consists of my mom and dad, my older sister, my younger brother, my younger sister, some chickens, a few rabbits, and a dog! Some things that bring me so much joy are watching the sunrise & sunset, driving around with my friends, and finding cute little coffee shops in the Dallas area to study and hang out with Jesus!!

I'm currently a senior in high school at Carroll Senior High, I am a competitive cheerleader, and have been for the past nine years! For so long, cheer was my identity, and I couldn't imagine pursuing anything else for my college career. That was until I went on a mission trip to Guatemala during March of 2020 and began feeling led to a future of mission work and ministry and now here I am! Going to spend nine months in Eswatini, Costa Rica, and Thailand instead of going to college:) 

I am so beyond excited for this next step in my journey and cannot wait to see all that the Lord has in store! I am so overwhelmed by the amount of support that I have already received and am looking forward to sharing even more about where Jesus is leading me!
