i’m home and it’s hard.

it’s crazy how fast life switched. one day, i was with my best friends celebrating each other and what our God has carried us through, and the next i was sitting in my house in my hometown in texas.

But PRAISE GOD that life doesn’t end after the word race or after we leave a community or after a good season ends!! reminding myself that God is the same in the states as He was in africa, with gap i, and on the race, because He truly is!!!

been reminiscing on my time with gap i and how different we are from when we met almost a year ago. gap i is a community unlike anything i had ever experienced- truly just 37 young men & women who love God and love people!! what a gift was and still is to be a part of an edified body of believers.

taking all that i learned from the race into next seasons, unsure of what God has for me, but trusting that He who promises is faithful and that life with God looks like glory to glory.

made a little video from my footage throughout the whole race to give you guys a glimpse into what life with gap i looked like- this is pure joy!

just want to say one last thank you to all of my supporters. life change would not have happened in & through me if it weren’t for you. thank you for your ‘yes’!!!

as always,

all my love,

avery

One response to “the end. but not really!!”

  1. It’s so good to see this montage of gap I. I’m so proud of you guys and so glad I got to spend bootcamp with you all- it is so beautiful and inspiring to see all the work you all did as a squad. Prayers for a smooth transition being home 🙂
